Middlesbrough v Man Utd Preview

Middlesbrough v Man Utd Preview

Boro haven’t played since the 4 March whilst this is United's third game in a week and they are missing Zlatan.

Middlesbrough have been on a horrible run without a win in the Premier League since mid-December. Aitor Karanka is gone after and the rumblings of discontent emanating from the squad cannot have helped.

However, with 11-games remaining they still have a chance to save themselves. Much of the criticism thrown Middlesbrough’s way has been their lack of offensive production. They are the lowest scorers in the league but let’s be positive – their defence has been excellent.

On Saturday, they face a Man Utd team possibly feeling the strains of fixture congestion. They played most of Monday’s game chasing Chelsea with 10-men and faced Rostov in midweek.
This will be United fourth game of the month meanwhile Middlesbrough haven’t played for 15 days.

With United also short of fit strikers, this is a game Boro could nick something from. At 13/10 (BetVictor) they are good value in the double chance market.
