Leicester v Man Utd Preview
Leicester are in a relegation battle but their home form could see them through. They have taken points in 8/11 games at the King Power.
There is no doubt Leicester are mired in a relegation battle and not only have they regressed in terms of points from last season but also performances. On my expected goal metrics, I have them about 15th in the league, enough to avoid relegation but perilously close if they suffer any bad luck (which they are probably owed after everything went for them last season).
If Leicester are to survive it will be down to their home form, which is where they’ve picked up 18 of their 21 points.
United are on a good run of form but they are still on the fringes of a top-4 finish. They’ve failed to win 5/11 away games this season and this is a tough fixture. The value is on a Leicester/Draw at 5/4 (Boylesports).
