Norwich v Everton Tip
The Canaries have already won this fixture in 2013 and have bought well this summer.
It may seem contradictory to tip Everton to lose this fixture on the same day I have said they are a good value bet for the top six, but today won’t greatly affect long term predictions.
The fact is that Norwich won twice as many fixtures at home last season (8) than the Toffees did on their travels (4) so best odds of 5/2 (BetVictor) on the hosts here is very generous.
The Canaries won this fixture 2-1 back in February and have now added firepower to their ranks with Ricky van Wolfswinkel arriving for £8.5 from Sporting Lisbon looking particularly eye-catching business. He may even play alongside £5m signing Gary Hooper who should be fit after joining from Celtic.
Norwich have only lost one of their six home Premier League games with Everton and nothing suggests that run is going to worsen on the opening day.
