Everton v Arsenal Tips: Marouane Fellaini
Didier Drogba used to dominate Arsenal’s defence with his physical presence. David Moyes has a similar weapon at his disposal.
After the disappointment of conceding a late equaliser against Norwich at the weekend, Everton have a quick opportunity to redeem themselves against Arsenal.
David Moyes welcomes back Marouane Fellaini from suspension and the Belgian international could make the difference. He’s scored six goals from 11 league starts this season but it’s his physical threat that could upset Arsenal.
Didier Drogba used to be Arsene Wenger’s tormentor in chief, scoring 13 goals in 14 games against Arsenal; Fellaini offers a similar threat. Powerful in the air, he is dangerous from set pieces but his advance positioning also means he gets plenty of chances from open play.
Everton have scored in every game at Goodison Park this season and if they are to continue that run, Marouane Fellaini will be the catalyst. At 8/1 (Ladbrokes) he is good value to open the scoring but back him each-way and get 1/3 odds if he is amongst the first five names on the scoresheet.
