York Tips: Mayfair Lady
Proved she has trained on when making all at York to win a competitive handicap in a very fast time.
Mayfair Lady made a big impression when winning on her comeback at York and back over the same course and distance she can make the transition from handicapper to Group sprinter.
At the start of the year there were question marks whether she’d trained on from two to three but she dispelled those fears with a taking performance. Setting a solid gallop, she made all at York to win a class 2 handicap by 2.5 lengths.
The time of the race was extremely good and with sectional adjustments, she earned a rating of 107. That marks her out as a class 1 sprinter at the very least and with potentially more to come; she should win a Group race this summer.
