Yarmouth Tips: Monsieur Jamie
Won last time he raced in class 5 company and his efforts over the winter give him a good chance.
The top-two in the market for the 5.20 Yarmouth should be opposed as both Megaleka and Dancing Freddy enjoyed the run of the race on their last start.
At a bigger price Monsieur Jamie is a much better bet.
He’s run with credit over the winter, going close in class 3 and 4 handicaps at his beloved Southwell but off a slightly lower turf mark he is able to drop down in grade.
Last time he race in class 5 company he won by 2.75 lengths, beating Indian Tinker who he re-opposes this afternoon.
His yard are in good form; Freddie Tylicki has an excellent 20% strike rate at the track and he is overpriced at 9/1 (William Hill).
