Yarmouth Tips: Mambo Spirit
Needs fast ground to be at his best. Showed good early speed before tiring on soft last time.
The recent warm weather has raised moral across the country but the happiest people of all are connections of Mambo Spirit.
The 12-year-old hasn’t got many campaigns left in him and it is essential he has fast ground. He is 3/9 on firm ground, which you only get at Bath and 3/29 on good to firm. Anything slower he is 1/26.
Last time out he showed his customary early speed but got tired in the soft ground after setting an overly strong pace.
The good news is he still shows zest for racing and back on a sound surface for the first time all season he could outrun his odds.
