Yarmouth Tips: Court Applause

Last two runs were excusable because of the ground. No rain worries today and has the ability to win if he can transfer his AW form onto turf.

Court Applause is yet to win in five turf starts but racing off a career low mark, he could break his duck in the 5.20 Yarmouth.

His last two performances having been fairly abject but both were on rain-softened ground and were excusable. Prior to that he ran a good race at Brighton, finishing a close fifth, in a higher grade than today’s contest.

He’s yet to prove himself fully effective on turf but he ran some good races on the all-weather this winter and has ability. At 17/2 (Sportingbet) he is worth the risk.
