Wolverhampton Tips: Woolfall Sovereign
Unbeaten at 5f, bang in-form and race should be run to suit.
A small field lines-up for the 2.25 Wolverhampton but it should be a proper test with three confirmed front-runners in the race.
Le Toreador, Moorhouse Lad and Royal Bajan could all ruin each other’s race and set up the contest for Woolfall Sovereign.
Even if the race doesn’t run to plan, George Margarson’s horse is still the class act in the field. He’s won his last two starts over 5f and still looks unexposed at the trip despite carrying top weight.
He took a decent class 3 handicap at Lingfield in early December and nothing in this field can match that level of form. He’s lightly raced for his age and can continue his upwards profile with victory at 10/11 (Bet365).
