Wolverhampton Tips: Vaux
Ran well on his return from a long layoff. Has some fair juvenile form and Adam Kirby booked.
The 7.45 Wolverhampton isn’t a strong race and the booking of Adam Kirby could be instructive. He’s ridden twice for Ben Haslam, winning once and is the best jockey on the all-weather circuit.
Vaux is a maiden of nine starts but he ran a fair race on return from a 4-month layoff. Held-up in rear he wasn’t suited by the steady gallop but he ran the same closing sectional as the progressive winner.
Last season he ran some good races as a juvenile and if he builds on his Wolverhampton performance, he should be up to winning off a mark of 60.
