Wolverhampton Tips: We Have A Dream
Tumbled down the handicap after a series of lacklustre displays but showed some of his old sparkle on last start. Not beaten far after setting strong pace.
Having been largely out of form since joining Violet Jordan, there was a glimmer of hope in We Have A Dream’s last performance at Wolverhampton.
The 8-year-old was only beaten 4.5 lengths in a class 4 handicap and he fared best of those who forced a strong pace. He still managed to record a decent time, despite his young apprentice getting the fractions wrong.
Nora Looby has been replaced by the more experienced Ben Curtis this evening and that bodes well for a better run.
Having won off a mark of 85 just two years ago, We Have A Dream looks incredibly well handicapped racing off 62 in a class 6 contest.
After racing almost exclusively over 6f there is a question mark over him dropping down to 5f but he showed enough pace on his last start to suggest he can still race prominently against weaker opposition.
Despite the lack of market confidence, We Have A Dream must be good enough to get in the mix at 16/1 (BetVictor).
