Wolverhampton Tips: Sunny Side Up

Progressive filly who proved on her last run that she is still on an upwards curve.

Sunny Side Up has been a progressive filly and her recent second place at Pontefract proved her poor Haydock run was just a blip. I expect her to continue on an upwards curve by winning the 6.50 Wolverhampton.

Equally effective over five or six furlongs, she was a shade unlucky on her last start. The soft ground wasn’t ideal and the winner got first run on her. She lost about three lengths around the bend and did well to finish within a neck, considering the sticky ground blunted her turn of foot.

Based on the my figures, I reckon she still has about 8lbs in hand on her handicap mark. I think she’s got one final win in her and is good value at 9/2 with Stan James.
