Wolverhampton Tips: Spic’N’Span
Should get an uncontested lead and is the best horse in a very weak race.
The 1.50 Wolverhampton is a poor race but it’s not a bad betting contest. There are so many horses out of form, or frankly not very good, that the field can quickly be narrowed down.
Spic’N’Span race an excellent race on his last start at the track and without facing much pressure for the lead he could run a big race.
Although his second place came in class 6 company, it was in a claimer. He finished behind a horse rated 73, and in front of a horse rated 66, who then won on his next start.
This afternoon Spic’N’Span’s best opponent is rated 53. Against weaker opposition, a repeat of his last run over course and distance would be good enough to win.
