Wolverhampton Tips: Rossetti
Finished fourth in a strong race for the grade, two starts ago.
Two starts ago Rossetti was beaten only 4.5 lengths over course and distance in a strong race for the grade and a repeat of that form should see him go close in the 2.20 Wolverhampton.
In a race that favoured prominent runners, Rossetti was the only horses to make up significant ground from the rear. He eventually finished fourth but the three horses that beat him have franked the form, winning three out of five races between them.
Having won off a mark of 77 as a three-year-old, Rossetti looks well handicapped off a mark of 72. With trainer Ian Williams amongst the best on the all-weather, I would be surprised if his charge didn’t run well at 9/1 (Bet365).
