Wolverhampton Racing Tips: Prince Of Vasa
Put in an eye-catching run against the pace bias at Southwell. Should capitalise off a declining mark.
Prince of Vasa isn’t one to get overly excited about considering his poor strike rate but he shaped with enough promise to have a small interest in the 3.50 at Wolverhampton.
Last time out at Southwell he was the only horse to make any headway from off the pace to finish third. Usually it is very difficult to win from behind at the track so his performance should be marked up.
The horse has struggled with the early pace of sprint trips so it is no surprise to see him switched to seven furlongs; he also returns to the scene of his only career victory. Racing off an all time low handicap mark, I think he can finally capitalise at 11/2 with Betfred.
