Wolverhampton Tips: Noverre To Go
Has run well at a higher grade this season and back over his optimum trip.
Noverre To Go might not be the force he was a couple of years ago but he still has enough ability to make light work of the 6.15 Wolverhampton.
Last time out he ran a fair race behind Doctor Parkes over a trip he probably found on the sharp side. All his wins have come at 6f and he reverts to that distance today.
Three starts ago he finished 2.25 lengths behind Intransigent, a horse who has gone on to score at a class 3 level. A repeat of that sort of form must give Noverre To Go an outstanding chance in this class 6 claimer.
Consistency might not be his strong point, which is why he finds himself in this grade, but out of ten races this year, five have been good enough to win this sort of race. Therefore 9/4 (Betfred) is value on what I regard a 50/50 chance.
