Wolverhampton Tips: Nine Before Ten
Finished second in first-time eye-shields, application of blinkers could have a similar effect.
Nine Before Ten has been very inconsistent but the application of blinkers might just make the difference in the 1.55 Wolverhampton. Four starts back, Charles Smith reached for the eye-shields and there was a notable improvement as Nine Before Ten finished a close second to Sally’s Swansong.
A couple of starts ago she put in another good performance when a close fourth over course and distance, suggesting her turn might not be far away. Last autumn she was rated 74 and has slipped 17lbs to her current mark and although she is no world-beater there is ability lurking somewhere. At 14/1 (Boylesports) she is worth the risk.
