Wolverhampton Tips: Naabegha
Last run deserves a big upgrade after he rallied from a hopeless position. Return to 6f another positive.
The 5.20 Wolverhampton is a good quality sprint handicap but with several front-runners in the field, the race could set up nicely for Naabegha.
Last time out at Lingfield he put in a sterling effort to finish fourth from a hopeless position. Not helped by a wide draw in stall 11, he raced keenly at the back of the field following a steady pace.
The way the race unfolded was never going to suit, but Naabegah found enough of a finishing kick to round the field and get within two lengths of the winner.
Having finished second on his last two attempts at the trip, a return to 6f looks ideal. Stall 1 is another positive and in a race where many of his rivals look weighted to the hilt, Naabegah is the best bet at 11/2 (BetVictor).
