Wolverhampton Tips: Mawjoodah
Better than her finishing position two starts ago when badly hampered. First-time visor should also help.
There is not a huge amount to get excited about with a lull in racing before Glorious Goodwood starts tomorrow. However, the bookmakers have taken their eye off the ball in the 7.00 Wolverhampton.
Mawjoodah has some fair all-weather form to her name and the first-time visor might just give her the edge in this low-quality race. She finished a close 6th over course and distance two starts ago and would have finished a couple of places higher but for some bad interference in the home straight.
Before that run, she was only beaten 4.75 by some much better horses in a 0-75 handicap at Lingfield. There are enough hints to suggest she is returning to form and in a weak race she shouldn’t be 12/1 (Bet365).
