Wolverhampton Racing Tips: Johnstown Lad
Beaten by the draw over course and distance last time, but now much better berthed.
Johnstown Lad is an obvious tip in the 3.20 at Wolverhampton but at 7/1 (Paddy Power) he is surprisingly good value.
Last time out, he ran in a nearly identical race over course and distance. Drawn in stall 10 he was held up and forced to race three wide round the bend. He eventually finished fourth but was only beaten by three-quarters of a length; a better draw might have seen him win.
Today he is well berthed in stall four and if he runs near the level he achieved in his last race then he must go close again.
