Wolverhampton Tips: Hamoody
Off a career low mark and returns to his optimal 5f trip after running well over 6f.
Reverting to his optimal trip of 5f and down to his lowest career mark, Hamoody looks capable of winning the 2.05 Wolverhampton.
At the start of November he ran a peculiar race over course and distance. Very reluctant to race, he was left at the start but made up over 5 lengths to finish a respectable sixth, only 4.5 lengths behind the winner.
Dropped into claiming and selling company at Lingfield, he ran some good races but wasn’t helped by running over 6f, a trip which stretches his stamina.
The good news is that he’s been breaking from the gates much better and should enjoy the return to 5f this afternoon. At 8/1 (Bet365) he looks overpriced.
