Wolverhampton Tips: Father Fred
Beat seven of today’s rivals on his last start, none getting within five lengths of him.
Father Fred beat seven of today’s rivals over course and distance 11 days ago and I cannot see who is going to turn the tables in the 8.10 Wolverhampton.
Father Fred has to shoulder a 6lbs penalty but he finished five lengths clear of Charlemagne Diva in third place and weight isn’t going to turnaround the result.
His potential undoing could be a change in the pace scenario, but a dawdling gallop is unlikely with Almaty Express, Steel City Boy and Rise To Glory all suited by making the running.
Having only his seventh start there should be more to come from Father Fred and he will prove hard to beat.
