Wolverhampton Tips: Chefchaouen
Faces an easier task in handicap company and has run some ok races in her career to date.
The 2.50 Wolverhampton isn’t the strongest of races and a case can be made for Chefchaouen on her handicap debut.
She failed to win as a 2-year-old but there were highlights along the way, including a second place at Deauville in a fair claimer.
Back in the UK she’s not been tearing up many trees but she ran a decent race when fifth behind Oracolo having helped set a strong pace.
She again wasn’t beaten far when raised in grade at Kempton last time and outside of maiden company she is less likely to stumble across a good horse.
Chefchaouen has clocked some reasonable times for a horse of modest ability and that might be enough to win a small 0-60 handicap. At 20/1 (Bet365) she is worth the risk.
