Wolverhampton Tips: Angelo Poliziano
Needed the run after a 64-day break. Now reunited with his favourite jockey, who enjoys a 44% strike rate with the horse.
Normally when I am making my selections the jockey is low down on the list of priorities, but there is always an exception. We have the perfect example in the 5.30 Wolverhampton.

Last time out he finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths over course and distance, but he had excuses. Apparently, he missed work in the build-up to the race after going lame and should be better for the run. Writing on her blog Ann Duffield said, “He was fit enough to compete but with some improvement still to come.”
A combination of fitness and jockey should bring about the necessary improvement, making Angelo Poliziano the best bet at 7/2 with Ladbrokes.
