Wolverhampton Tips: Almaty Express
Still showing plenty of enthusiasm and could get an uncontested lead.
Almaty Express has been a grand old servant but even at the age of ten, he still has the ability to win a little race like the 2.40 Wolverhampton.
Although he has lost some of his dash, he is still a dangerous horse given an uncontested lead, a scenario that could develop this afternoon. Looking through the field there are no other front-runners, jockey Kieran O’Neill just needs to be positive.
If Almaty Express establishes a gap, I don’t think any of his rivals have the ability to reel him in. At 9/2 (William Hill) he could make every post a winning one.
