Wolverhampton Racing Tips: Majestic Breeze
Had her race ruined by a protracted pace duel last time out but she still performed with credit.
What makes horse racing so fascinating and frustrating is the random element – races don’t always go to plan.
This was the case three weeks ago with Majestic Breeze. Looking at the line-up I expected one, or possibly two horses, to set a moderate gallop. Instead four front-runners got involved in a protracted pace-duel, blowing the race apart with a fierce gallop.
Unfortunately, Majestic Breeze got caught in the middle. Forced to expend her energy early in the race to keep tabs with the leaders, she had nothing in reserve as Invigilator came from last to first.
Having lost nothing in defeat, I hope the 3.30 Wolverhampton will be run in a more conventional fashion because she is good enough to win in this grade at 10/3 with William Hill.
