Wolverhampton Racing Tip: Sir Nod

Sir Nod was never outside the top four when racing over six furlongs last season. His consistency makes him a solid bet at this level.

The 8.15 at Wolverhampton is quite an even race but I have gone for the mount of the Champion Jockey – Sir Nod.

Over today’s trip, six furlongs, Sir Nod is one of the most consistent horses around. In 2010 his finishes were: 113243, most of them in a better grade. His worst performance was his first of 2011. That day he finished eighth but the jockey failed to remove the horse’s hood in time. He lost several lengths at the start of the race and the run is best forgotten.

A two time course and distance winner, this nine year old still has the ability to win this kind of race.
