Wolverhampton Racing Tip: Sally's Swansong

With a guaranteed fast pace we recommend splitting stakes between two confirmed hold up horses.

The 5.20 at Wolverhampton is a two horse race and I advise splitting your stake evenly between two selections.

The race is purely determined by a pace angle. Of the twelve runners seven of them are prominent racers, with at least three who have to lead. To find the winner we need a hold-up horse.

Having already recommended Straboe, our second confirmed hold-up runner is Sally’s Swansong.

She broke her maiden tag last time out over course and distance. Overcoming a terrible draw in stall 12, she showed tremendous agility to weave through the field, eventually winning on the inside.

Credit goes to the jockey Graham Gibbons (on board again) but the horse showed the tactical speed to side step her rivals and can be rated a bit better than her win because of that.

Today she is much better drawn in stall five and should have the race run to suit. I recommend splitting your stake evenly between Straboe and Sally’s Swansong.
