Wolverhampton: Cone Donkey
Won last time out, her first race in almost 4 months. Reasonable to expect further improvement.
With changeable weather and going descriptions, I’ve sought refuge with the all-weather in the 8.20 Wolverhampton.
Cone Donkey arrives in the race as the only winner last time out and she certainly has the scope to improve. Her record at 6f is 2251, with the 5th place finish easily ignored as she didn’t handle Southwell’s fibresand surface.
The form of her last win might not amount to much, it was a weak maiden, but she won in a time consistent with a class 6 handicapper, the level she races at today.
She probably needed her last run, it was her first race for almost 4 months, but won’t need to improve much to win the race at 9/2 (Ladbrokes).
