Wolverhampton Betting Tip: Rio's Girl

Switch to the Kevin Ryan yard should improve this four year old, who has a good draw and the pace to use it.

A simple puzzle to solve in the 5.00 at Wolverhampton. The five furlong track at Wolverhampton has caused me a few problems this winter. Nothing seems to win from the back and although the races seem visually fair, everything drawn wide gets touched off.

In these low grade races all the horses are of similar ability; so the small differences that a pace or draw bias conveys can make the difference. Therefore it’s back to basics with this tip. A prominent runner, drawn in stall one – Rio’s Girl.

She has other strings to her bow too. Trainer Kevin Ryan is flying, with three 20%+ months in a row for strike rate. She is also dropping back in grade, having raced in a class 5 race in October.

Although she has been off the track for 125 days it coincided with the change in trainer. In those four months it is fair to expect Kevin Ryan to have worked the oracle on this horse, she is still only four. She should have improved over the winter and will leave her old form behind.
