Wolverhampton Betting Tip: Medicean Man

It is ideal conditions for this progressive sprinter who has won 5 of his 17 starts.

The 4.25 at Wolverhampton is a cracking little sprint, with plenty of nice sorts. After his win at Ascot last year Medicean Man struck me as a talented sprinter. He is a horse who needs soft ground or polytrack to be seen at his best. He has always underperformed when racing on good to firm ground; therefore you tend to see him at the start and end of the flat season when the ground is more suitable.

He travelled like the winner at this track in September only to be mugged on the line. That was over seven furlongs and a drop to six is ideal. He has won round the track before, he stable are flying and he looks to have everything in his favour.
