Wolverhampton All Weather Tip
Unlucky on his last two starts the horse is a winner in waiting.
Buxton is the obvious option in the 4.20 at Wolverhampton and it is surprising to see him priced up at 8/1.
In his last race Buxton was travelling best coming round the final bend but as often happens at Lingfield he didn’t get the gaps and his progress was hampered all the way up the finishing straight. His jockey didn’t even have the chance to go for his whip and with better luck he would have gone close.
Wolverhampton’s final turn isn’t nearly as tight as Lingfield’s and should help Buxton stay out of trouble. His record at the track is one win and two second places from five runs, it suits him and with a clear run he should go very close.
