Win A Wedge

Wolverhampton Tips: Wedgewood Estates

Wedgewood Estates was beaten a head by a perfect ride last time but should reverse the placings with Multi Quest.

The 8.45 Wolverhampton is a bad race but it shouldn’t be too difficult to solve. Multi Quest and Wedgewood Estates finished 1-2 and I expect the placings can be reversed.

Wedgewood Estates is 1lbs better off for his defeat by a head but the weight is neither hear nor there – it’s the shape of the race that will make the difference.

Last time out Multi Quest was able to grab an easy lead from stall 1 and Franny Norton set almost perfect fractions all the way round. Wedgewood Estate covered the final 3f, 0.19s quicker than the winner but it wasn’t enough to get by.

This evening Multi Quest is drawn much wider, in a bigger field with more likely pace pressure and that should set the race up for Wedgewood Estates at 7/2 (William Hill)
