Southwell Racing Tip: Mata Hari Blue

Mata Hari Blue shows signs of coming to hand. She ran well when posted four wide at Wolverhampton last time out.

The 5.40 at Southwell is a two horse race between Lindoro and Mata Hari Blue and it is the latter I have gone for.

Recently Mata Hari Blue has shown signs of coming into form. She finished a very creditable second at Wolverhampton having been posted four wide round the bend. She did really well to get close to the winner.

Before that the John Holt mare ran well over an inadequate five furlongs at Southwell. She proved that day she handles the surface and it was a hot race she contested. The three horses that finished in front of her are all rated in the high 60s.

Mata Hari Blue is jockey Graham Gibbons only ride of the day. I doubt he would have made the trip if the horse didn’t have a chance.
