Wolverhampton Tips: Field Of Light
Field Of Light has been unfortunate to bump into some well-handicapped horses of late but this should hold no surprises.
Betting opportunities are thin on the ground but Field Of Light should break his duck in the 5.15 Wolverhampton.
He has placed on his last three starts and been unfortunate to bump into some good horses along the way. He couldn’t live with Grand Inquisitor (rated 95) at Nottingham losing by 5 lengths, but his final sectional was comparable with that of the winner.
On his penultimate start at Ripon he bumped into the well-handicapped Miss Van Gogh (winner again since) and a similar thing happened at Lingfield with Brittleton.
In an all-age handicap, he is coming up against more exposed types and they look a moderate bunch at best.
Field Of Light has run speed ratings good enough to win at this level and with first time blinkers applied, that should be enough to win.
