Peachy Wolverhampton Bet

In a field of mainly exposed maidens this recent winner stands out.

A class 7 opens the evening’s card at Wolverhampton and nothing to excite the purists but the one dimensional nature of these horses makes the structure of the race easier to predict.

True Red and Miss Polly Plum are the pace horses in the race; drawn in stalls 1 and 2 they should generate a solid pace and that is a necessity as our selection Orpens Peach won at 7f yesterday. A late foal in May this still lightly raced 4yo is open to some more improvement which puts her in the minority in this field of mainly exposed maidens. She travelled well, never far off the pace suggesting a drop back in trip should be within her sphere.

It’s hard to pick out any other dangers but Metropolitan Chief should turn around the form with Black Baccara. Last time out he was travelling as well as anything but Black Baccara got first run on him. At four times the odds today he is better value but 2 wins in 53 races suggest he is not one to get carried away with.
