Orchestra Hits The Right Note

Aiden O’Brien has won the Chester Vase four times in the last seven years and usually has one smart horse in the race.

Aiden O’Brien has farmed the Chester Vase (2.45 Chester) in recent times, winning four of the last seven renewals.

He saddles two runners in this afternoon’s race and Orchestra looks the pick with Ryan Moore on board at 4/1 (William Hill).

Like many Ballydoyle runners he’s hard to judge at this stage of his career.  He won an ordinary maiden at Tipperary last August but he’s entered in all the big races and the sky’s the limit.

He’s proved capable of running well on a sharp left handed track and in a race where only his stable companion has topped a Racing Post Rating of 100, there doesn’t seem to be any world beaters in opposition.
