Newmarket Tip: Brorocco
Clocked the fastest sectional of the season at Chester last time and more galloping track will suit.
As is his want, Brorocco was slowly into stride at Chester eight days ago but unfortunately the race didn’t unfold as he’d like.
Held-up in rear they went no sort of gallop and the race turned into a 2.5f sprint. Although Brorocco ran the fastest closing sectional by 0.44s, the winner (who made all) was too far ahead and he ran out of track on Chester’s short home straight.
Helped in part by the steady pace, Brorocco clocked the fastest closing sectional at the track form the last 805 runners
A stronger pace and a return to a more galloping track will suit Andrew Balding’s three-year-old and he should enjoy conditions in the 3.15 Newmarket. Earlier in the season he won on the July course and although he is off an 11lbs higher mark he’s won in this grade before.
