Consistent high-class handicapper who has conditions to suit. Could run a big race on first start for his a new yard.
Zero Money has always been a smart handicapper and he looks an exciting prospect on his first start for Hugo Palmer in the 2.55 Newmarket.
Hugo Palmer is adept at getting the best out of his new recruits straightaway. Before the start of this season he had a 25% strike rate with horses returning from a 100+ day layoff, with winners at 11/2, 12/1, 20/1 and 33/1.
Having his first start in 273 days, Zero Money is lucky to have ideal conditions. At his best on a sound surface, he is a previous course and distance winner and has an excellent record over 6f.

Zero Money’s only flop came in the Portland when he ploughed a loan furrow against the far rail, which wasn’t the place to be; he is easily forgiven that run.
Given the circumstances, it is reasonable to expect Zero Money to run to a mark in the low-100s and considering his official handicap mark is 98 he should run better than the market expects.
