Newmarket Tips: Pearl Sea
Recent defeats have come against the best 2-year-old fillies in the country.
The majority of horses lining up for the 1.40 Newmarket are starting to look exposed and on the balance of form Pearl Sea looks the one to beat.
She finished second to 1000 Guineas favourite Certify back in July and on her last start she was beaten 4 lengths by Rosdhu Queen, one of the speediest juveniles around. In between those two runs, she comfortably won a class 2 maiden at Goodwood.
Representing the strongest form in the field and proven in soft conditions she looks overpriced at 5/1 (Bet365).
