Newmarket Tips: The Cheka
Record on first start of the season is: 11321. Hard to beat if continuing the pattern.
The Cheka makes his first appearance of the year in the 3.30 Newmarket and he is a horse you need to catch fresh. On his seasonal debut over the last five years, he has finished 11321.
Not only are his results excellent but they are backed up by Racing Post Ratings.

Something in the field will need to produce close to a lifetime best to win the race and even then I doubt it will be enough the beat The Cheka, especially if he repeats the pattern of previous seasons. At 5/1 (William Hill) he looks the best bet.
