Newbury Tips: Hamza
The draw beat him in the July Cup but he should be able to dominate a smaller, weaker field.
Things didn’t got to plan for Hamza in the July Cup last week but he can gain some compensation in the 3.15 Newbury.
Firstly, this is a much easier race and secondly the small field will suit his front-running tactics. At Newmarket he couldn’t get to the front from his wide draw, he might still have lost but stall 12 was a big disadvantage.
There should be no excuses this afternoon in a five runner-field and I expect him to return to the form that has seen him win two of his last three starts.
