Multigifted At Kempton

Multigifted At Kempton

Finished strongly at Brighton when it looked like she might be tailed off and could relish the step up in trip.

We are yet to get a decent run for our money having backed Multigifted on her last two starts. We can forgive her run at Kempton when the saddle slipped and although she was slightly disappointing at Brighton there was enough encouragement to tempt me back in.

Slightly surprisingly she got outpaced over 10f at Brighton but when looking like she’d finish last she rallied to finish fourth only 3.75 lengths behind the winner.

She displayed a similar strong finish when third at Windsor in September (on softer ground) and it might just be that she lacks early speed and needs a proper test. It is therefore understandable to see her stepped up to 12f and the trip could be the making of her.

One win in 21 starts doesn’t breed confidence but there is ability and like her brother Multitask, she might be a better horse on the all-weather
