Trainer is enjoying a 36% strike rate this winter and Jazri ran a sectional adjusted speed rating of 72 last time despite being rated 60.
The revival of Milton Bradley’s stable has been one of the stories of the winter and whatever he’s done, he has transformed the performance of his horses.
Since the start of November he is enjoying a 36% strike rate (10-27) and there is still value to be had backing his horses. Jazri a case in point.
The 5-year-old had looked exposed but his win at Chelmsford was remarkable. Tracking the leaders in a moderately run contest (106.7% finishing speed) he came three wide round the bend to reel in the leaders and then run away from the pack.
Jazri covered the final 3f in 35.2s and earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 72. That is comfortably a career best, seemingly out of nowhere.
In the 12.30 Chelmsford he carries a 6lbs penalty but that is unlikely to stop him if he is in the same vein of form.
