Lingfield Tips: Tarooq
Still unexposed at 6f and has won his last three starts for his new trainer.
The 3.45 Lingfield is a good quality sprint that should be run at a solid gallop. Tarooq will be able to get a nice position from his favourable low draw and looks the most likely winner.
Since joining Stuart Williams in the summer, this precocious talent has begun to deliver on the track. Having started the winter in sellers and claimers, he proved his ability by winning a class 3 handicap on his last start.
A fortnight ago, I remarked how impressive his speed ratings were and judging by the way he finished his last race he could go even quicker. With his stamina proven beyond 6f, a strong pace will play into his hands and at 4/1 (Bet365) he is hard to oppose.
