Lingfield Tips: Rose Garnet
Unlucky to lose at Wolverhampton when she went off too fast. Should be able to dictate matters from a good draw.
Rose Garnet went into my notebook 19 days ago when she lost by a head at Wolverhampton and she can gain compensation in the 1.40 Lingfield.
The 6-year-old went off far too quickly on her last start and could not sustain the gallop. Her finishing speed was 97.9% (par = 100%) and it was some performance to lose only by a head, despite weakening in the final 2f.
A step up in trip should work in her favour and she has enough pace to lead, especially from a favourable draw in stall 1.
If Luke Morris sets the right tempo, Rose Garnet will be tough to beat.
