Kempton Tips: Vive Ma Fille
Ran the fastest sectional on the card last time out and could be much better than her opening handicap mark.
The 8.15 Kempton is an intriguing handicap contained three unexposed last time out winners. Process is a big danger but at the prices I’m most taken by Viva Ma Fille.
Last time out, she was an easy 5-length winner and although a closing sectional of 22.66s wasn’t impressive in absolute terms, it was the quickest on the card at a meeting where all the overall times were slower than usual. I suspect the surface was riding deep or there was a head-wind affecting the times.
Hailing from a strong yard, Vive Ma Fille could be a useful individual and racing off a mark of 80, the handicapper might have underestimated her abilities. At 3/1 (William Hill) she is a good bet.
