Kempton Tips: Time Square
Five-time course winner, who showed up well for a long way last time. Drops down in grade.
Unfortunately, the price of Time Square has been cut whilst I was writing this piece but at around 9/2 (Bet365) he is still a good bet with a best odds guaranteed bookmaker, so we can capitalise on any drift at SP.
The 8-year-old wins in his turn and that tends to be at Kempton. His last five wins have come at the track (albeit over 10/11f) and he is well drawn to attack today.
Last time out he set an overly strong gallop (98.4% finishing speed) and understandably faded in the final furlong.
Despite racing in a higher grade and doing too much in front, he was only beaten 5.5 lengths and this afternoon he drops into a much easier 0-55 handicap.
