Kempton Tips: Taajub
Is 4/11 in class 4 handicaps and was running well on turf without getting his head in front.
Taajub is a sprinter I followed for much of the summer and although he was unable to capitalise on his favourable mark he finished 2245 in his last four races – all competitive handicaps.
If anything he is a better all-weather horse (3-16) and he is overpriced on his return to a synthetic surface. His three victories at Lingfield were achieved with Racing Post Ratings of 90+ and although he is getting older, his speed ratings this summer were impressive.
He is a better horse than stable companion Sandfrankskipsgo yet more than double the price.
The one concern is his poor record after a break but I’m willing to take the risk on his fitness at 12/1 (BetVictor).
