Kempton Tips: Street Power

Six-time course winner returning to form after his 2011 season was spoilt by injury.

On paper the 7.20 Kempton looks like an incredibly tight affair but course specialist Street Power could have the edge.

Jeremy Gask’s horse has won 6 times from 17 starts at Kempton, winning both times he has tackled today’s trip of six furlongs. The key to this horse is a strong gallop and with Button Moon and Mac Gille Eoin in the field, the race should be run at a good tempo.

After an injury blighted 2011, Street Power appears to be getting back to his best. He was a course winner in March and was unlucky to bump into the in-form Italian Tom when second two starts ago at Ascot.

Comfortable racing in this grade, at his favourite track Street Power is overpriced at 8/1 (Paddy Power).
